Matkaa on tehty pikkuhiljaa ja eihän täällä voikaan kiirehtiä, kun sulut ja silla pysäyttävät etenemisen säännöllisesti. Sää on suosinut ja maisemat ovat häikäisevät. Äiti Nessietä ei ole vielä nähty, ehkä hän kuitenkin näyttäytyy, kun meillä on mukana Little Nessie. Miehistö kävi tutustumassa Urquhartin linnan sillä aikaa, kippari etsiskeli meille poijun yöpymistä varten.
We have moved forward quite slowly which is the way it should be here in the Canal as locks and bridges will slow us town constantly. The weather has been fine and the scenery has been stunning. The crew visited the Urquhart Castle, while the skipper found a boyo for overnighting.
