Tobermory - Lochaline

Tobermoryssä vietimme pari yötä, kun emme viitsineet lähteä pohjoiseen 17 ms maksimi tuulessa (ei olisi ollut nenästä tällä kertaa). Vuokrasimme autoin ja ajoimme ympäri Mullin saarta tutustuen mm. Duartien linnaan.
Lounas syötiin erään B&B:n keittiössä.

Tänään puolilta päiviltä purjehdimme myötätuuleen ja osittain vastavirtaan Tobermorysta Lochalineen. Tällä kertaa 10 - 12 m/s tuuli voitti yhden solmun vastavirran varsinkin kun ei tarvinnut kryssiä.  Loch Aline on rauhallinen vuono.


We spend a couple of nights in Tobermory as westerly wind was gearing up in the open sea. We rented a car and toured the island of Mull eg visiting the Duart castle. Lunch was consumed in a B&B:s kitchen due to shortage of tables in the dining hall.

Today we left Tobermory for Lochaline in a 10 -12 ms run with stream on the nose. This time wind won the stream and we were putting good 6-7 kn SOG. Loch Aline is a very pretty and peacefull sealoch.
