Decades go by

Tänään vietettin kipparin merkkipäivää. Päivä alkoi aamupalalla paikallisessa leipomossa, missä kaupunki levitti päivänsankarille punaisen maton saapumista helpottamaan. Päivän mittaan vieraita saapui mm. moottoripyörällä Suomesta asti. Lahjoja oli kätketty Duon lokeroihin, jokin löytyi, mutta ehkä niitä vielä on kätköissä. Mikkeli teamille löytyi  myös pelipaidat, message on vielä kipparilta pikkasen kateissa.
Ilta huipentui gourmet-ateriaan paikallisessa Berlusconi-vivahteisessa ravitsemusliikkeessä.

Today was the skippers ageing day.  We started with breakfast the local town treating skipper with red carpet. Visitors arrived to reception through the day, some even with a twowheeler from Finland. Treasure hunt was ongoing onboard, but maybe some of the gifts are still to be found. The Mikkeli-team also got the sweatshirts but the message still needs some interpretation.
The day was concluded with a gourmet supper in an Italian establishment.
